HOW I POSE + DIRECT
I'm not the photographer who's going to awkwardly tell you to stand and fake smile. Bleh. You'll never have to wonder "What do I do with my hands?" My goal is to direct, not pose. I often tell my couples to act like I'm filming them instead of taking photos, so you're always moving naturally. An example of my more documentary style directing is something like, "I want you both to explore this field as if you're on a date exploring the scenery and can't keep your hands off each other." Then as you do that, I'll give you more specific directions within that. I cater my posing and directing to every couple uniquely because everyone is different. I won't give you a bunch of silly prompts that force you to do something that isn't genuine to who you are. Which is another reason why getting to know you and making sure we vibe is SO important. The more at ease you are with. me, the better the photos I get will be.
